Logo and fonts artwork files will be needed in a format suitable for print.

HIGH RESOLUTION FILES:

Artwork should be provided as an outlined high-res PDF or AI files. 300 dpi is ideal and images should be no less than 180 dpi.

File type: Ideally, artwork should be saved as an AI file in Illustrator, Photoshop or Freehand format. These files are used to create the printing templates and their quality will be reflected in the end result.

PRINT COLOURS:

Supply the guidelines and Pantone colours (PMS) if your logo or brand images needs to be replicated in a specific Pantone colour. The colours can usually be derived from artwork files but having the right details will ensure an exact match.

FONTS:

If you would like to use a specific font on your bags, please supply the font name and outline details. We can create it if you do not have it electronically. For example you might want your web address printed on the side panels in a certain font, simply name the font and we can re-create, even if you do not have it as an original art file.

ATTACHING FILES FOR EMAIL:

Files should be sent via email or FTP. When sending files, you should also attach a PDF version.

There are a number of print techniques available for printing on a reusable bag and it will influence the material you decide to use and even the style that is suitable.

SILK SCREEN PRINTING

Is suitable for Non-woven, Cotton, Jute and rPET eco-bags. It is the perfect choice when the artwork is simple and bold. Block or spot colours colours work best.

DIGITAL COLOUR PROCESS

This is best suited for graphic or digitally created artwork and pictures. It is also cost effective where many colours are used and high volumes required. It will give a contemporary and quality finish. The additional finish of a matte or gloss laminate can be applied to enhance the look of the bag. It is suitable for all laminated bags: Non-woven laminated, Woven laminated and rPET laminated bags.

HEAT TRANSFER

Essentially a tattoo or a decal is created and with the use of heat bonded onto the bag. This method can be used for Non-woven bags or rPET bags. This method will achieve a brilliant photo quality for your bags without the need for lamination, however print coverage will be limited to the size of the heat transfer rather than the size of the bag.
