ALD Life are a charity supporting sufferers of a rare and terminal, genetic brain disorder. They have a chain of five charity shops and wanted a strong brand identity to convey to their customers so that they can help spread the message of ALD Life and educate people about this rare disorder.
They needed a bag for customers to carry home their charity shop purchases. The brief specified a bag that looked smart, is eco-friendly and promotes ALD Life and the work they do.
The charity and it's founders have a strong recycling ethos and they were already using recycled carrier bags in store. Getting an eco-friendly,
branded bag for life designed especially for them was a no brainer! They could continue to be environmentally-friendly whilst providing customers
with an eye-catching and practical bag that they are happy to reuse on other shopping trips. eco-friendly and promotes ALD Life and the
work they do.
The bags are sold in-store and online to help raise revenue for the charity. The tote bags have gone down really well with shop customers and service users and have helped to create much needed public awareness.
The finished bag exceeded ALD Life's expectations and has been incredibly popular and well received by all involved. It's proved to be a must
have for service users and a great awareness raiser!

ALD Life are a charity supporting sufferers of the rare, genetic and terminal brain disorder, adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). The disorder renders apparently normal and healthy young boys under 10 to a semi-vegetative and totally dependent state within months. These boys do not usually live more than a year past diagnosis. It is a particularly cruel and devastating disorder and we actively support families practically, emotionally and financially as well as supporting research and raising public and medical awareness.
